Saturday November 18th Noon – 12:30 pm the Palm Coast Elks Lodge #2709 will hold our annual Hoop Shoot. This free-throw competition lets boys and girls compete for a chance to represent their community at the National Hoop Shoot in Springfield, Mass., home of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. At the conclusion of the National Shoot, one boy and one girl from each age group will win a national title and will have their names permanently inscribed at the Basketball Hall of Fame. Contestants will be assigned an age-group based on the age that they will be on April 1, 2018. Contestants must be 8 years old by April 1, 2018, to participate. Please bring a copy of the shooter’s birth certificate, without it they may not be able to advance to the next level. The contest is open to all girls and boys 8 - 13 years of age.
